Professor Jeff Fletcher is an experienced consultant paediatric physician in general and behavioural paediatrics and paediatric nephrology (Kidney disease). Jeff comes with the knowledge, patience, compassion and care to support each and every individual child and family.

Jeff has worked across many domains in the public and private healthcare sector for 20 years in rural, remote, regional and tertiary hospitals. Jeff has senior clinical and executive leadership experience and collaborates widely to empower children, families, teams and individuals to reach their goals. Jeff feels his passion and ability to do this ensures all kids receive care as close to home as possible with co-ordinated care to support the child and their families accessing medical care, as well as educational and additional supports needed to reach their goals socially, academically and personally.

With a special interest in neurodiversity, ADHD, genetics, genomics, chronic and complex care and behavioural paediatrics Jeff will happily review any child with these conditions ensuring he provides compassionate, collaborative care for the child and family. Jeff has a special interest in children in Out of Home Care and children from vulnerable backgrounds. Jeff has a PhD in Genetic Renal Disease and additional research interests include:

1. The delivery of integrated care to children in rural and regional areas.
2. The management of ADHD and anxiety in children in the private sector.
3. Paediatric workforce across Australia – especially rural and regional.
4. Paediatric healthcare service delivery.

Jeff completed his MBA (Health Management) at Adelaide University in 2024 with a strong desire to improve access to affordable healthcare delivery for all children and families across Australia through the vision of building of a public-private collaborative model.
