ADHD Lifespan Clinic Team

I am a general paediatrician with a special interest in neurodevelopmental conditions and lifestyle medicine. I have expertise in caring for children from newborn to adolescence with acute or chronic medical conditions.

I have over 20 years of experience working in general paediatrics; having spent paediatric training at Children’s Hospital Westmead, several Sydney and regional NSW hospitals, gaining extensive experience in both general paediatrics and developmental paediatrics. Since gaining fellowship in Paediatrics and Child Health with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2015, I have been working in private practice as well as in public hospitals as a consultant paediatrician. I currently hold VMO paediatrician positions at Blue Mountains Hospital, Katoomba and The George Centre. I have additional training in Lifestyle Medicine and am a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician. In addition to clinical interests, I have been involved in clinical teaching of junior doctors in public hospital settings.

My passion is working with parents and families achieve health goals for their child, being mindful and respectful of their values and preferences. I support and empower families to advocate for neuro-affirming supports for neurodivergent children and youth and form healthy lifestyle habits as they embrace health as a state of wholesome well-being not just as an “absence of disease”. I incorporate my knowledge of Lifestyle Medicine in my daily interactions with the children and families that I care for.

In my private practice I mainly see the following conditions:

• 6-week well-baby checks, pre-schoolers with fussy eating, slow growth or developmental concerns
• School aged children and teenagers with health conditions, including incontinence (day-wetting, bedwetting or soiling), obesity
• Learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
